operates an FAA-certified Part 145 repair station at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth airport and provides aircraft & engine storage, MRO maintenance activities, and end-of-life services with a decades-long history of first-class service.
Our Proud History Will Lead Us Into the Future
Our lineage in aircraft maintenance spans decades, beginning in World War 2 as a B-29 Modification Center where we modified over 5,000 aircraft. In the following years we continued to provide our military with the quality maintenance of over 3,000 KC-135 Stratotankers and over 2,000 C-130 Hercules aircraft.
Kaiser Aircraft provides heavy maintenance for Transport Category Aircraft.

Our team is currently engaged in providing support to customers in commercial maintenance and aircraft end-of-life services utilizing our experience in dismantling and subsequent parts logistics. We are Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA) certified.

Logistically, Birmingham is served by an extensive transportation system including railway, highway, and air services. Four interstate highways provide ease of trucking access, including I-65 North/South. I-20 and I-59 Northeast/Southwest and the I-459 loop to the southeast. Our facility is within a short drive to New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville, Huntsville, Atlanta and Mobile.
