The Story of How We Took to the Sky
Kaiser Aircraft Industries, Inc. has evolved over a span of close to 80 years, primarily contributing to the country’s war efforts. Beginning in World War 2 under the Bechtel-McCone conglomerate, as an aircraft modification facility primarily for B-24, B-25, B-26 and B-29 bombers. We even rebuilt over 5,000 war-torn WW2 jeeps. These efforts continued during the Korean and Vietnam era’s as the Hayes International Aircraft Corporation.
